License
Trading License
Umm al Quwain Free Zone provides two types of license namely Commercial License and General Trading License.
Commercial License
Commercial License is provided for importing, exporting, distributing and storing products that are mentioned on the license. Also in this type of license you can have either three different product lines or ten similar product lines.
General Trading License
With a General Trading License the business person can do trading in a wide of activities. In addition you have the freedom to trade in any commodity but it must be permitted in the UAE.
Note: Commodities which require special approval or clearance from various UAE authorities e.g. explosives and armaments cannot be traded with a General Trading license.
Industrial License
Industrial License is provided for importing raw materials. And then the raw material can be manufactured, processed, assembled, packed and exported. Also this license is only for a specified product.
